Cohort Systems Inc. and Shenzhen Anzer Intelligent Engineering Co., Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding ‘Collaboration on Unmanned Security Vehicles’.
May 9 2016 at the China-Canada Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference in Vancouver British Columbia, Cohort Systems Inc. and Shenzhen Anzer Intelligent Engineering singed an MOU regarding ‘Collaboration on Unmanned Security Vehicles’. The primary intent of the MOU is the co-development of a modular autonomous navigation payload for a family of outdoor robots Shenzhen Anzer will manufacture on its product line in Shenzhen.

This May 3rd to May 6th Cohort Systems will be attending the NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG) SG.202 meeting hosted by Northrup Grumman Space Technology at Space Park in Redondo Beach California. The purpose of Study Group (SG) 202 is the Development of a Conceptual Data Model for Multi-Domain Unmanned Platform Control System Services. Cohort is participating in this activity because the company believes that modern physical security challenges are best addressed with a multi-domain solution; and a crucial component of this solution will be a Multi-Domain Control Station for UxV control.
Engineering Services Inc. Toronto and Cohort have agreed to submit a response United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) invitation to submit a bid for the Supply, Operations and Maintenance of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) for Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Improvised Explosive Device Disposal (IEDD) in Mali. The bid is in response to ITB Ref No: 95739_ITB_MLI_ROVs_16_139 for the supply of 14 medium sized ROVs and 1 small ROV.

Cohort Systems has been invited to attend the Fort Benning Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE) Industry Day in Columbus Georgia. This event will take place on April 13th at the Columbus Trade Center in Columbus Georgia. Located at Ft. Benning, Georgia, the MCOE is the U.S. Army’s testing ground for future technologies that will aid the Infantry, Stryker, and Armored Brigade Combat Teams. The objective the event is for the US Army to convey its requirements to industry suppliers.
Cohort will be attending the Canadian Armed Forces Outlook at the Shaw Center in downtown Ottawa on April 5. At this event Canada’s top Military leadership will discuss their goals for tomorrow’s Navy, Army & Air Force.

CADSI is a not-for-profit national business association that represents more than 1,000 member companies selling to the defence and public security markets. Cohort Systems Inc. has been accepted as a supplier to the United Nations Global Market Place (UNGM). The UN represents a $15Billion US market much of which is for specialized goods to provide security in that same geographic markets that Cohort has been developing for its products. The UNGM is a portal to many independent UN purchasing agencies. Through this portal Cohort has recently replied to an RFI for supply of an EOD Robot for de-mining in Mali.
Cohort Systems Inc will attend the Southern Ontario Defence Association ‘Made In Canada Day’ event. The event will take place on Mar. 31 at the Western Fair District in London Ontario. The event is supported in part by the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
Cammell International based in Hong Kong and Cohort Systems Inc. will team to prepare a responce to an RFP from the Hong Kong Police for the supply and support of Eight EOD Robots.

The intent of SG-202 is to evaluate the functional requirements for a standard general purpose Ground Control Station that could be used to control any type of Unmanned Vehicle or combination of Unmanned Vehicles.

The intent of SG-202 is to evaluate the functional requirements for a standard general purpose Ground Control Station that could be used to control any type of Unmanned Vehicle or combination of Unmanned Vehicles.
Cohort has received a contract to develop the concept and design of a new Unmanned Ground Vehicle. Details cannot release at this time. However the platform will be support all weather all season extended duration missions and will be powered by a Diesel Electric Hybrid power plant.
Islands Auto UAE has engaged Cohort Systems to advise a new company called Calidus UAE on future Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) development. Cohort has been invited to develop the concept for an Unmanned Ground Combat Vehicle (UGCV). The UGCV is envisioned to be used in Urban applications to deal with asymmetric threats. The vehicle will: continue perform its assigned missions while sustaining damage, is configurable to different roles by way of replaceable role specific turrets, be powered by a diesel hybrid engine and could be controlled by Cohort’s Robot Open Controltm.
