AVIN Partnering Forum 2019

The Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) is hosting AVIN Partnering Forum 2019 on Oct 31.  This event will take place at the Marriott Downtown at CF Toronto Eaton Centre (525 Bay St. Toronto, Ontario M5G 2L2 Canada) from 8:30AM to 3:30PM.  Cohort will be attend and meetings can be scheduled in advance by contacting info@cohortsys.com.

The AVIN Partnering Forum brings together potential collaborators eligible for the Autonomous Vehicle R&D Partnership Fund and WinterTech Development. Part of the Autonomous Vehicle Innovation Network (AVIN), the AV R&D Partnership Fund supports collaborative industry-led projects related to the research, development, and demonstration of connected/autonomous vehicle (CAV) and transportation technologies. WinterTech Development supports projects related to the technology/product/service prototyping, validation, testing, demonstration of mobility products and services to meet the unique demands of winter weather conditions.

Attendees at the forum are mobility ecosystem strategists, decision makers and/or subject matter experts from the automotive and mobility sector and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for potential partnerships that will drive economic growth, create high-quality jobs, and strengthen Ontario’s competitive advantage in the auto and mobility sector.

Unmanned Systems Canada UC19

Canada’s main unmanned system conference known as  Unmanned Systems Canada Conference and Trade Show will take place this Oct 30-Nov 1 at The Westin Ottawa 11 Colonel By Dr, in Ottawa.  Cohort will be attending this event on Oct 30 and Nov 1.  Please contact Cohort  using info@cohortsys.com should you want a meeting with us.

JETRO CAV Meeting in Toronto Oct 23

Cohort Systems Inc (CSI) has been invited by JETRO to meet with companies from Japan with interest in the Connected Autonomous Vehicle (CAV) market at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre on Oct 23rd.

JETRO, or the Japan External Trade Organization, is a Japanese government-related organization that works to promote mutual trade and investment between Japan and the rest of the world.

CADSI SME Day

On Oct 16 Cohort will be attending the CADSI SME Day in Ottawa.  This is an annual event that has a long standing history of educating CADSI members and bridging the gap between OEMs, governments and Canadian SMEs. The day starts with an insightful morning program geared to informing attendees of current programs and best practices for their success, followed by a full afternoon of targeted 20-minute B2B and B2G meetings.  The event will be at the Shaw Centre Trillium Ballroom Level 4 – 55 Colonel By Drive in Ottawa.

Waterloo Defence Research Forum Oct. 10

Cohort Systems will be attending the Waterloo Defence Research Forum at the University of Waterloo Federation Hall this Oct 10.  This conference will bring together defence primes, Canadian SMEs, and university researchers for keynote speakers, networking opportunities, and panels on topics such as:
